The Advantages of Home Staging ~ Stage, Sell, Profit

1.  When your clients home is clean, de-cluttered and looking beautiful, the property will sell quickly and in most cases, your client will get the profitable offer they want.

2.  I act as a third party which allows you to focus on your work. You are assured that the home will be ready to show in its best light and will be a listing you and your client can be proud of. I will stay in touch with you to report on staging progress and keep things on track as far as the time line for listing and marketing.

For more than four years I have been providing home owners with expert advice on ways to make their home appealing to potential buyers. During my consultation, we address cleaning, de-cluttering, use of temporary storage, curb appeal, lawn care, re-arranging of furniture and accessories, lighting, de-personalizing their rooms, painting and any necessary repairs. I will also provide the home owner with general tips on creating ambiance while the home is being shown, and quick and easy decorating tips that add a little color, creative touches and pizzazz that will be sure to catch the buyers eye.

The Stats

U.S. Housing and Urban Development statistics show that staged homes, sell on average, 17% higher than an unstaged home. Studies suggest that staged homes sell at an average of 6.32% over what they are listed for. Non staged homes only average 1.6% over the listed price. The New York Village Voice reports that the average length of time a staged home on the market is 13.9 days versus 30.9 for non staged homes.

  • Tour of property exterior and interior with a buyers eye
  • Consultation with home owners on my recommendations
  • Typed room by room checklist for preparations plus general tips for creating ambiance and decorating ideas. Checklist is provided to the home owner and you.
  • Follow-up with client to check on progress and to address any problems or concerns

Includes all listed in A plus my assistance in staging preparations
  C   Complete Staging
Includes all listed in A and I and my team stage the home
